About Us
Since 1977, National Pools of Roanoke, Inc. has been designing and building fine inground gunite swimming pools for residential, public and semi-public applications, including some of the largest and most prestigious pools in Virginia. National Pools also restores and renovates older pools and services existing swimming pools.
In addition to our construction and service departments we also provide just about every after-market item our customers could possibly want or need, including swimming pool and spa chemicals (chlorine, Baquacil®, bromine, salt water), equipment and maintenance supplies (pumps, motors, impellers, chlorinators, strainer baskets, weirs, gaskets, diving boards and stands, vacuum cleaners, hoses, poles, brushes, safety equipment).
Our showroom and warehouse are filled with top of the line Hydropool Hot Tubs, Serenity Hot Tubs, Doughboy Aboveground Pool Kits, quality pool and patio furniture such as dining sets, chaise lounges, umbrellas, hammocks, rugs, accessories and commercial pool furniture, including custom order furniture by makers such as Tropitone, Kingley-Bate, Ebel, Homecrest, Windham, and Poly-Wood. We also keep pool games and accessories in stock at all times.
HISTORY
National Pools has been a family-owned business in Southwest Virginia for over 30 years, building quality gunite swimming pools. Since our inception in 1977, National Pools has constructed over 400 residential pools, more than 350 commercial pools, and renovated between 250 and 300 pools, most of which were commercial pools. National Pools staffs a full line of highly trained service technicians specializing in providing your pool with the highest quality service and maintenance.
SERVICES
Lee Vaughan is our Service Manager and will be glad to schedule any work you may need for your pool. We offer many services for in-ground pools. We do pool openings, closings, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly maintenance. We also do service repairs such as filter, pump and heater replacements, plumbing repairs, sand replacement, and installation of chlorinators, new salt generators and controllers to simplify your equipment operation.
On residential pools, we are here for you if you need us to perform the following service:
